September 2017 Awardees Chris Vansant and Lee Howard

Chris Vansant and Lee Howard on Roth Drive in the Senators are the recipients of the September Lewes in Bloom Beauty Spot Award. Chris and Lee’s garden frames their home beautifully. The back patio is very inviting, consisting of beautiful shrubs, perennials and annuals to attract bees and hummingbirds. A striking waterfall adds a soothing sound to the area. The plantings around the home were created to add color and texture throughout the year, and consist of evergreen trees and shrubs, perennials and annuals. They planted and created most of the landscape themselves and provide the maintenance as well.
