Otis Smith Park

This park is named in honor of Otis H. Smith, a distinguished businessman, mayor of Lewes for 18 years, and University of Delaware trustee. Mr. Smith was a staunch supporter of the fishing industry and of the college’s research and education efforts. Otis Smith Park is one of the smaller city parks located along Savannah Rd next to the Beacon Motel.  It features a pavilion and bbq pit that is managed by the Lewes Rotary Club.  Lewes in Bloom began managing this garden in 2017.
