August 2020 Beauty Spot Awardee Chris King

​The August 2020 beauty spot winner is Chris King.  Chris renovated this beautiful 1935 craftsman home and moved in 2 years ago, although gardeners were in her family she wasn’t one of them until recently.  Crepe myrtles were used to create division and privacy along with a mural painted fence and trellises covered with climbing plants. Hydrangeas, Dover roses, boxwoods, a weeping cherry and switch grasses were used around the house along with numerous perennials and annuals. The property is small but very charming and private. with room like areas to sit and enjoy.
